Samco Facilities Management has been serving commercial facilities across Southeast Michigan since 1997. We’re a family-owned company with a straightforward approach: hire skilled technicians, treat them well, and send them to clients who rely on us. Every technician we employ is a direct W-2 employee – we do not use subcontractors.
Roles We Hire For
Our technicians work across the full range of commercial facilities maintenance services Samco FM provides. Open positions typically include:
- Commercial HVAC Technicians – Service, repair, and preventive maintenance on rooftop units, air handlers, split systems, and building ventilation equipment. EPA 608 certification required or in progress.
- Commercial Refrigeration Technicians – Walk-in coolers, reach-in cases, freezers, and refrigerated display equipment for restaurants, grocery, and food processing clients.
- Food Equipment Repair Technicians – Commercial cooking equipment, fryers, ovens, steamers, and kitchen equipment for restaurant and food service clients.
What the Work Looks Like Day-to-Day
Samco FM technicians work across a wide range of commercial facility types throughout Metro Detroit. One week you may be running preventive maintenance at a restaurant chain location; the next you’re troubleshooting process cooling at a manufacturing plant or servicing refrigeration at a grocery distribution facility.
The variety is one of the things that keeps the work interesting. You will build real diagnostic skills across multiple equipment types and industries – not just repeat the same call type day after day.
